Marinstaden
Floating estate Marinstaden is located in Svindersviken bay in Nacka. The plan of of the estate was developed by HMXW Arkitekter. The site plan for 40 floating dwellings was accepted by the municipality in Nacka in 2006. HMXW Arkitekter designed also the first type of the floating house on the spot, Marinvilla. The first Marinvilla was completed in 2007, followed by another two in 2008. A total of five houses of this type were constructed and are anchored in Marinstaden.

Large part of the planned estate consists of floating houses built by Aquavilla company. Aquavilla is placing three types of houses in the location, named after the offered living area: Sjövilla 157, Sjövilla 194, Sjövilla 210. Aquavilla plans to place 12 houses in Marinstaden, of which 5 are already constructed.

In 2018 a block of 50 flats was completed along the southern bank of Svindersviken. The building is called Sjöhuset and was designed by sandellsandberg arkitekter.
